The ninth in a series of newsletters sent to Local Planning Authorities in England. This edition focuses on so called ‘Trojan Horse’ applications – those that make changes to the size, layout, or facilities of a pub, in such a way that the viability of the business is damaged. This is then sometimes used to justify redevelopment of the pub as a whole.
