The Campaign for Real Ale is scheduling online events and tastings to bring
beer writers and industry experts to your screens.

CAMRA has put together a series of online tastings that will allow you to enjoy an interactive session with our expert hosts and fellow beer/cider enthusiasts. All you need to do is buy your ticket and we will take care of the rest including sending the beers/ciders direct to your door.

Schedule

For your online tasting sessions we are offering you a choice of tastings across various dates. This should mean you can schedule your time more easily and will be able to join us for one of our upcoming events soon.

Online links

When you book a session we will send you details of  your login and links to enable you to access the online tasting. Full details will be sent to you in a confirmation e-mail.

Home delivery

We will pack and dispatch the beer/cider for each tasting directly to your home address. Your order will arrive safely and in time for your online session.

Join Adrian on the 10 January @ 7.30 pm for a tasting evening (via zoom), with plenty of discussion and entertainment learning about the incredibly diverse UK beer scene.

The perfect beer tasting to celebrate International Women’s Day

Beer may have a reputation as a man’s drink, but it’s actually women we have to thank for inventing our humble pint. In celebration of past, present and future women, CAMRA is bringing you a special edition International Women’s Day beer box.

Celebrate our fantastic female brewers at this exclusive tasting

International Women’s Day (8 March 2022) celebrates a world that is free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. In the run up to the day itself, we are bringing you a set of specially selected beers from female brewers that reflect these values. Not only will you be supporting British brewsters but you will also learn more about each beer in a virtual tasting taking place on 3 March 2022 at 7pm. Our brewsters and host Laura Hadland will guide you through each brew in the pack, making it the perfect gift for a friend or even just a cosy night in.

Modern British Beer Box & Tasting

  • To celebrate the publication of Modern British Beer by award winning writer and photographer Matthew Curtis we have put together a beer box of five and a tasting glass.
  • All purchases of the Modern British Beer box will also come with an invitation to an online tasting event hosted by Matt to celebrate the publication of the book.
  • This event will take place via Zoom over two dates – 12th/19th August from 7-9pm.
  • All purchasers will be informed of login details closer to the publication date.

Matthew Curtis – Author of Modern British Beer

Matthew is an award-winning freelance writer and photographer who’s passion and enthusiasm for beer culture has since overflowed into all realms of food and drink. His work has appeared in publications including Ferment, Hop & Barley, BEER and Good Beer Hunting, where he formerly served as UK Editor.

  • Your beer box will be delivered the week commencing the 2nd of August and our delivery company will contact you directly via text with the details.
  • On the 10th of August you will receive an email with the zoom log in details for the tasting on the 12th and also the tasting on the 19th so you can choose to join the one that suits your schedule best.

Champion Bottled Beer of Britain Beer Box & Tasting

We are pleased to bring you the next edition of the Good Beer Box which features the winners of CAMRA’s Champion Bottled Beer of Britain competition 2020. 

The box includes all 6 of the finalists, with three of the beers collecting awards for Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Christine loves educating people about beer, whether through tutored beer tastings or training, which covers both enthusiasts and the trade.

She is a Master Trainer and an accredited European Beer Consumers Union beer judge, judging at a variety of competitions such as  for Wetherspoons, SIBA, World Beer Cup and International Beer Challenge as well as chairing judging panels at CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain Awards and the International Beer Challenge.

The tasting will feature 5 beers which have been perfectly matched with 5 different flavours of chocolate specially curated by our expert Christine. This is a perfect tasting session as a treat for yourself or shared with that special someone. The session will include background into brewing and beer, how the beers are produced and why they fit so well with the chocolate flavours available today.

With travel to the USA severely restricted by the pandemic, the USA is coming to us!  Join Lotte Peplow, the Brewers Association’s American Craft Beer Ambassador for Europe, for a series of three guided tastings of outstanding American craft beers from all corners of the country.

Each tasting will last approximately 90 minutes, include background, history and trends about American craft brewing and feature six different beers. Discover America’s craft beer scene from the comfort of your home in January!
