Modern country-house hotel in a Georgian Grade II listed building. Beer drinkers and hikers are welcome. It's perhaps not really the place for muddy boots, rucksacks or a session. Although they don't mind! Sandwiches and soup available all day. Open for breakfasts and tea/coffees from 7.30am

Historic Interest

Georgian country house built around the 1740's by the Ingilby family. A large wing was added in the 1860s and it became a hotel or guest house in the 1930s. A single-storey extension was added in 1976 as part of its development as a modern country-house hotel.
