This recently renovated and redecorated 16th century grade II listed free house is situated on the Pitt-Rivers estate which explains some equestrian themes. With wooden beams throughout, the bar area features stone flooring and a log burner while the other areas of the pub are used as a restaurant. The bar stocks a rotating selection of cask ales from the southwest along with locally sourced gins and soft drinks. There’s a lovely outside patio area and accommodation is available.
