Built in 1708, this thatched grade II-listed public house sits in the heart of the town. The interior is open plan, but there are two defined areas; at one end is a large TV and at the other end a large open fire. The pub offers up to six real ales and ten craft beers, and good quality pub food is available at reasonable prices. There is a secure beer garden at the rear, which was formerly their car park. Live music features occasionally.
