This Pub is Closed Long Term

This independent cinema and community arts venue closed on 9 November 2025. The operator, the Really Local Group, is in administration. The council is seeking a new tenant to take over the premises.

Opened in June 2024 in the former Chicago Rock nightclub, Throwley Yard is Sutton's independent cinema and cultural hub. As well as four cinema screens it has a bar and cafe, and there is a strong focus on the local community. The bar serves a selection of keg beers. The cafe opens at 9am daily serving hot drinks and cakes. Social events are held, including live events.
