Reopened on 2 September 2022 having been temporarily closed on 23 April 2022 for a major refurbishment. From 21 October it is open on Fridays from 8:30am for coffee and pastries, but alcohol is not served until 12 noon - please note that their website makes no mention of their early opening on Fridays (as on 9 May 2023).

Small multi-roomed 17th-century Free House inn close to the Thames that has been extended over the years to accommodate separate dining areas including outside the main building. There is an inglenook fireplace in the oldest part of the pub with a log burning stove.
