A former Watney pub which was described in 1989 thus:-

Friendly and efficient service cannot compensate for the atrocious 1980s pub decor that hits you before you even get through the door. A handpump in the public bar only, where the beer (Webster Yorkshire Bitter) is quite good and relatively cheap.
