Starting at 17.00 on the 1st April and running through until bank holiday Monday 6th April, "The Vic" as it is known locally will be hosting its first ever Beer Festival. There will be at least eleven real ales on offer at £4 a pint. These are a mix of local and not so local beers ranging from two offerings from the newly resurrected Jennings Brewery, a rare appearance in the dales of Draught Bass and Salopian Darwin Origin, to mention just a few.
As well as a good range of real ales, the pub also offers low or no alcohol beers and lagers as well as a wide range of wines spirits and soft drinks. From time to time, there will be food vans outside serving a range of food (details on their Facebook page).
