This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Royal Oak traded from 1849 to 1958 in the Windmill Hill area of Gravesend, initially as a beerhouse. At the turn of the century it was part of the tied estate of local brewers Walker's, before passing to Charrington's when they took over Walker's in 1904.
After closure this fine building was converted to residential accommodation. It is still standing today (2020).
