This Pub is Permanently Closed

In 2013, the pub was converted to an Indian restaurant. All former brewery signs have been removed, except for a small M&B plaque on the frontage.

Historic Interest

This brick Victorian village pub was formerly owned by Offiler's Brewery of Derby, and later by M&B-Bass. It had the remains of a painted Offilers sign on the frontage. Old photos show that it had interesting original ironwork on the roof, but this has been removed.
