A central public bar with lounge-dining areas around. The single-storey extension on the left has games, darts and TV. An "olde world" ambience is enhanced by quarry tiled floors and exposed ceiling beams and joists. A large attractive back garden has surfaced and lawned areas with a variety of furniture and childrens play equipment.

Historic Interest

As its name would suggest, this is a former traditional coaching inn which has been offering refreshment (and in those days a change of horses) since about 1842.
