This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Queens Head was situated in the town centre and traded from 1842 to 1960. Early in the 20th century it had been one of 62 Gravesend pubs owned by local brewers Russell's. In 1930 the ownership transferred to Truman's when Russell's was taken over.
After closure the pub was destroyed to make way for a car park. The site is now occupied by the St George's shopping mall. There's progress for you...
