Micropub in the vaulted cellar of a former tattoo parlour, entered by a spiral staircase from an upstairs lobby. The ground floor of the building was at one time a small premises called the Cellar Bar: the bar now in use was used as a music venue. A second vaulted room behind the bar has been opened. Typically three real ales and several ciders are sold under gravity dispense from a temperature-controlled cellar room behind the bar counter.
There is live music on Saturday nights and some Sundays, The last Sunday of the month features local musicians playing original compositions with no cover versions.
Monthly open mic nights on the last Thursday with a ukulele club on some of the others. Watch out for poetry nights in the back room.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
