Micropub.
Micropub in the vaulted cellar of a former tattoo parlour, entered by a spiral staircase from an upstairs lobby. The ground floor of the building was at one time a small premises called the Cellar Bar: the bar now in use was used as a music venue. A second vaulted room behind the bar has been opened. Typically three real ales and several ciders are sold under gravity dispense from a temperature-controlled cellar room behind the bar counter.
Events include a monthly Friday night featuring four local musicians and Sunday sessions for performers of original material with no cover versions. There are monthly open mic nights on the first Thursday with a ukulele club on some of the others, and a monthly open mic poetry session.
