This Pub is Permanently Closed

Previously known as the Railway Hotel from the days when the village had a railway station, this six room pub overlooks Liverpool Bay and was purchased by the J W Lees company on the 3rd. July 1948.

Closed and boarded up in October 2013 and converted to luxury flats by March 2020.

Planning application approved 17/12/2015 -

1)Conversion of former public house and dwelling into 1 house and 4 no flats 2) Revise access parking and amenity areas 3) Demolish outbuilding shed and external stairs 4) External alterations/improvements to fabric
