This small pub off the A4 re-opened in November 2014 after a period of closure. Quite a significant re-furbish, inside and out - also significantly branded on its outside wall as "Bar & Restaurant" - now sea-green and white rather than black-and-white. It's now privately-owned, purchased from Brakspear by the owner of the nearby Novello (among others), so it's a free house. The side area, which will be run as a restaurant extension, is also available as a meeting area.
