Karaoke and/or disco Saturday evening.
Local Pigeon Club meets here.
Historic Interest
Probably built in the early 1800s; first mentioned in a trade directory in 1827. Originally called the Lord Nelson (date of name change not known), the pub may have been privately owned until sold to the local Brunt & Bucknall Brewery in 1861. Brunt & Bucknall were taken over by Salts Brewery (Burton) in 1919, who were in turn taken over in 1927 by Bass. The pub remained in Bass’s hands until the late 1990s, when sold to Avebury Taverns who were taken over by Punch in 2005.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
