This Pub is Permanently Closed

This former Watney pub was smartly done up in 1985 at some expense to character, but later closed. The pub also had a separate building at the rear with a bar that overlooked the river. It is said to had a thriving darts team. Picture of the pub was taken sometime in the 1970s.
