Large, fairly modern pub. Originally opened by Banks's, it was subsequently sold. and reopened as a free house some time ago without real ale. It now serves one beer, latterly from Three Tuns Brewery.
The interior is typical of edge of town new build pubs, one large bar, pool table, music etc.
Other details may have changed since last survey. Another is to be undertaken.
Historic Interest
The pub is named after Henry "Harry Hotspur" Percy who was routed by King Henry IV at the nearby Battle of Shrewsbury on 21 July 1403. Trivia note: the Percy family were substantial land owners in the North London area, hence the name of the local football club - Tottenham Hotspur (the Hotspur nickname was a reference to Harry's dashing attacking spirit).
