A country dining oriented pub with a stone flagged drinking area with counter, note the foot-rail is a piece of railway track. Two thirds of the pub is a pleasant dining room in pastel colours and with wine based decor. The tap room is fiercely traditional in style and clientele with low beamed ceilings, pine settles and tables. Some of the shell cases remain from the previous Second World War decor before a recent refurbishment.
