Adjacent to Masham's large market place, this 18th century grade II listed hotel is food oriented but the beers are well kept and include beers from Masham's two breweries alongside the Greene King choices. Comfortable bar and informal dining area with bare boards and tongue and groove wainscotting much in evidence. Gentle background music, a modern fireplace and some pleasant art work, there is also a TV.
Parking is available on the market place, except on market days (Wednesday and Saturday) for a small donation. There is an honesty box in the restaurant and on the market square itself; all monies collected go to local projects.
