This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.
NB. Reports indicate that this is not being run as a pub anymore. The manager stated that they are now a restaurant and not a pub, so will not serve beer without food. (March 2013). Located on the Petersham Road and at the foot of Star and Garter Hill opposite an entrance to Richmond Park, The Dysart is an imposing building with a contemporary look inside but is now better regarded as an upmarket restaurant as it certainly NOT a pub, as popping in for just a drink has been discouraged. See website for opening times and restaurant booking. There are classical recitals on the first Sunday of every month and sometimes jazz club performances on the third Sunday of every month. There is a very large car park to the side and rear. Prams are not allowed inside the building.
