This Pub is Closed Long Term

Fairly isolated pub, just off the A40, that specialises in food sales rather than catering for a local drinking trade. It has exposed beams, stone-flagged floors, a log fire in winter and a pleasant garden in summer. Renamed the Boot Inn in the 1980s, note the collection of boots and other footwear on display, presented to the pub by celebrities, sportsmen, pop stars, politicians, and others.

Closed Jan 2018 and to let on Charles Wells web site February 2022.
