Re-named & re-opened as R Bar on November 15th 2024.

The premises which was once a bookshop was converted into a bar, but closed for a while before being taken on as a new venture and with the new name of R Bar. The bar area is downstairs aims for a modern style sympathetic to it's Dales town location. There is a games area upstairs featuring darts, table football, shuffleboard, and pool (with spots 'n' stripes balls).

As of mid-December 2024 Dark Horse Hetton Pale and Tetley Bitter were described as permanent(ish) beers.
