Corner pub next to the end of one of England's most northerly canals, hence the name. Refurbished Autumn 2019, the pub comprises a large open plan U-shaped room with comfortable seating, big screen TV and a pool table. There is also a darts board. A good locals pub,

Recently reopened (early 2025) with a new tenant, but currently no real ale.
