Bar and bottle shop opened September 2023 serving three cask ales mainly from smaller local breweries together with a real cider and five keg beers, cans, and bottles. A small room downstairs accommodates the bar and bottle shop while upstairs there is more space with two small rooms and a larger room at the back. Current beer selection, together with ABVs and prices, is displayed on the wall above the bar. A selection of bar snacks is available and meals can be ordered from certain local restaurants for consumption in the pub.

Historic Interest

Grade II listed building. Served as the Town (Council) House from 1835-1851 and the Borough Police Station (1875-1887).
