Overlooking West Park Stray, this is now an upmarket gastro pub, re-opened in July 2022 after a two-year closure, with extensive refurbishment by its new owners, Provenance Inns and Hotels. The new owners have promised to keep the pub true to its heritage as a popular local; there are six handpumps on the bar serving local real ales. The restaurant is upstairs with a small bar housing two handpulls.
