This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Balloan House does not serve real ale (yet) but is included so as to include all the licensed premises in the Highlands & Western Isles Branch Area. Balloan House is in the small village of Marybank, above the River Conon, at the gateway to the beautiful Strathconon. The lounge/public bar area is open all day to residents and locals, and there is an all-day menu. Balloan House is ideally located for outdoor enthusiasts, and for those who wish to explore the history of the area it is a very short drive to the Victorian spa resort of Strathpeffer or to Castle Leod, seat of the Chief of the Clan Mackenzie and the oldest intact castle in Britain.
