Troubled beer giant gets ÂŁ50m boost

The new owner of Scottish beer giant BrewDog has spent more than £50m in a bid to stabilise the floundering company. Tilray Brands chief executive Irwin Simon said he was “real happy” the firm acquired BrewDog. Simon said: “It’s four months into it and I am really happy we acquired this. It’s a phenomenal brand, phenomenal assets, phenomenal opportunities. We probably put another £50m back into this business from a cash flow and an investment standpoint.
