A large, one might say huge, single room restaurant with bar area. Whilst most definitely a gastro-pub it hasn't completely lost the drinking area although it does tend to merge into the dining area. However, the large outside garden and good beer means that the Windmill scores highly if you are looking for somewhere to dine and drink real ale in a lovely country setting. Permanent beers from Storm & Weetwood plus other guest beers from another local breweries. In addition there are two membrane Keg beers. Check blackboard to verify which are cask and which are membrane keg.
Less than a mile walk from Bollington (& buses) by either the Middlewood Way (bridge 8) or Macclesfield canal (bridge 25). Dogs are welcome in the bar area.
