Since August 2025 this has been a tenanted pub with Carl Bromley as the tenant.

A large popular pub, dating from 1756, on the main road at Bollington Cross. A central bar area, conservatory, secluded dining areas, outdoor covered patio, and children’s play area ensure that drinkers, families and diners are all made welcome.

Low ceilings, stone flagged floors and coal-effect gas fires make for a cosy bar area whilst a TV in a separate area regularly shows sporting events.

Bus stop right outside the front door provides regular, easy access to and from Macclesfield and the rest of Bollington.
