A 1960s pub built by Hall’s to replace the adjacent building, which survives as a kebab house and café. The interior is vast, open plan, with television screens in the front bar, and pool tables. Refurbished April 2017, under new management and now badged as Ember Inns, part of M&B. Has numerous food and drink offers and on cask beer Mondays and Thursdays if you register.
