The pub is first mentioned in 1750 as the Grapes and the name was changed in 2001. The passing road from Woodstock was a turnpike from 1719 until 1878 and the toll booth and gate were further south. The entrance is down the left hand side next to the car park and spacious, well-tended garden. Refurbished September 2022.
