The original Red Lion was first mentioned in 1750 but it was demolished in 1957 and the current building erected just to the west. It has an open plan bar with two big bay windows and a large garden. After struggling with several changes of management and a failed community buy out has now been taken on by Oak Taverns. Has 'street food' offerings in attendance Friday, Saturday, and some other days - check Facebook, and if not you can order in.
