Located on platform 3b of Doncaster Railway Station this new venture, which opened in 2017, is the project of one man, CAMRA member Russell Thompson, who did all the work, and now runs it himself very successfully with assistance from his son Luke. This former Victorian Buffet bar had stood empty for 18 years. Real ales are changed regularly, and all sourced from Regional brewers and micros. Crisps, tea and coffee with pies and other snacks are available. Wines and spirits are sold, and an array of gins are superbly presented. Do be sure to admire the fantastic Victorian wall tiles, and mounted Draughtsman's Drawings of steam locomotives. Background music but no TV screens. Plastic glasses must be used if drinking outside.
