Busy town centre pub, loud music is a feature with classic rock on the juke-box, lively atmosphere. Up to 4 real ales served through hand pumps with eye level outlets to their swans' necks. Large screen TVs on permanently with mainly sport. Adjacent to Frenchgate Shopping Centre and minutes from Transport Interchange. Formerly known as The Spread Eagle, see the Emblem high on the front of the building.
