This Pub is Permanently Closed

There are hints of former glories about this place, which is probably why it appealed to Wetherspoons. Unfortunately, since their ownership passed, Novo Investments, the current custodians have not displayed a sympathetic attitude towards it. Real ale returned in September 2012 but unfortunately is not always available. On the other hand, Whitchurch is now blessed with several other outlets where reliable and quality product is available! Closed since Feb 2014 while undergoing a lengthy refurbishment (Sep 2014).
