This pub is in an early 17th century listed building, which was remodelled in the early to mid 19th century. In a narrow turning off the High Street, it has three small, but distinct areas. The two on the left hand side are comfortably furnished and both have large TV screens showing inane quiz shows etc. Though thankfully they are often silent. The right hand bit has a pool table, fruit machine and music. There are two handpumps, but on One beer (Landlord) is served.
It is very much a locals pub though visitors are made welcome.
