Closed temporarily on 21 August 2024, expected to reopen in late October 2024 with new lessees.
Out of the way 16th century pub with lots of brass, wrought iron, beams and 2 real fires - one dating from 1650. It has a large conservatory restaurant area with fabulous views across the Chiltern countryside and two snug bar areas. Ideal base for walking and cycling, with its own off-road cycling club. Food is traditional British with a modern twist.
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays except when bank holidays, then they close the next day.
