Dating back to at least 1850 when it was listed in Bagshaw’s Directory. Owned from 1890 by Burton Bell & Co, Rose Brewery, Waterloo and from 1907 by Peter Walker. Closed 5 September 1966 with license transferred to the Abbotsford.
