Although primarily a restaurant (and one with a national reputation) this old thatched pub makes just-drinkers welcome in the small bar area to the right of the front entrance. The rest of the building, including the conservatory overlooking the large garden, is given over to fine dining. The guest beer is sometimes from a local micro. There's also a good selection of bottled beers. Given the operation here, the high prices will not come as a surprise. Food claims to be a fusion of Mediterranean, Asian and traditional British.
In January 2018 it was taken over by Cambs Cuisine who also run such rural pubs as the Crown & Punchbowl, Horningsea and the Tickell Arms, Whittlesford.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
