Opened as the Astronomer in October 2023 by Cambscuisine on the ground floor of the Hyatt Turing Locke Hotel. It became the first establishment in Eddington to offer cask ale.

Bar and restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Drinks include local and regional keg beers and cask ale.

In November 2025 Cambscuisine stopped running it as the Edyn Group, which runs the hotel, took food and beverage in house. It was then renamed the Starman.

Historic Interest

The name refers to the astronomer Arthur Eddington, a Cambridge University alumnus and astrophysicist after whom the neighbourhood is named.
