Formerly the Crown, extensively refurbished in early 2024 by Heartwood Inns and renamed the Quill & Scholar. The entrance opens into a large well furnished lounge area with a mix of comfy seats and stools at higher tables. A selection of bar food is available. Further into the room is the restaurant meet and greet station leading into the L-shaped dining area. Beyond the restaurant there is outside seating. Whilst adequately catering for the real ale drinker the emphasis is on quality food. Please note this venue only accepts card payments, not cash.
