A delightful micro pub that has been charming locals and visitors to Lichfield for over ten years. Nestled in the heart of the city’s pedestrianised area, the Whippet Inn offers an ever-changing selection of cask beers across four hand pulls, with two changing real cider lines, craft beers in cans, and a range of quality spirits and wines. This intimate venue can accommodate around 45 people, with seating for about 25. The feature wall includes striking artwork and original paintings. Monthly music nights feature local performers, and there is a Wednesday cribbage league for players of all abilities. There is a complimentary cheeseboard on Sunday. Locally produced cobs are available most days. The venue is both dog friendly and family friendly with under 18s allowed in until 8.30pm. There are also small outdoor seating areas for al fresco drinking.
