A delightful micro pub that has been charming locals and visitors to Lichfield for over ten years. Nestled in the heart of the city’s pedestrianised area, the Whippet Inn offers an ever-changing array of cask beers across five hand pulls, alongside a real cider line, craft beers in cans, and a carefully selected range of quality spirits and wines. This intimate venue can accommodate 45 patrons, featuring comfortable seating for around 25 on cozy benches and bar stools. The feature wall includes striking artwork and original paintings. The venue hosts regular music nights featuring local performers and runs a lively weekly cribbage league. There is a monthly quiz night. On Sundays, guests are treated to a complimentary cheeseboard. Locally produced cobs are available most days. The venue is both dog friendly and family friendly. There is a small outdoor seating area for those wishing to enjoy their drinks al fresco.
