This is a former coaching inn dating from the 17th century, though that's only really evident from the outside. Many decades ago it was called Scales, due it is said to the practice of weighing jockeys at the pub in its early days. It now styles itself as a ‘boutique bar and eatery’. Colourfully decorated, it has a strange emphasis on darts, with automatic scoring. More unusual are the shuffleboard tables. Comfy seating includes faux cowhide benches. A largely wings-burger-pizza menu fits in with the overall vibe.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
