Taken over by Titanic Brewery and refurbished in Q3 2024. Previously The Pig but now renamed The Beacon. The name recognises Lichfield’s Beacon Park, a thriving community space that is also the home to a statue of the captain of the RMS Titanic, Stoke-born Edward John Smith. The spacious interior features modern, fairly muted decor, with painted wooden panels and bare brickwork chimney breasts. The walls are adorned with articles and photographs of the Titanic. Locally sourced sausage rolls and pork pies are normally available. The suntrap beer terrace to the rear has plenty of seating.
