Although the Southgate is a club, fully owned by its members, it also happily welcomes the general public as a pub and is fully licensed accordingly. Established in 1928. It's popular with locals and also the many walkers and tourists who visit this beautiful and popular area of the Gower, especially when the sun shines!
There are separate bar and lounge/restaurant areas inside and a large outside seating area at the front, which is protected from the wind by large glass panels. Membership of the club entitles you to discount on drinks and food. Breakfasts are served daily 10am until Noon. The Sunday lunches are popular and booking ahead is recommended. There are Bridge nights every Monday and a Quiz night on Thursdays.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
