One of Gower's oldest pubs (it reputedly dates from the 16th century), the Plough & Harrow has been enlarged and tastefully renovated over the generations, but retains its character and popularity. The pub cleverly combines being a national multi-award winning gastropub (including AA rosettes from 2016 - 2025) with the traditions of a local. There is a reasonably large L-shaped restaurant and also a separate bar area for quiet conversation or a bar meal. A takeaway menu including fish and chips is also available at early evenings on Tues to Sat and also for Sunday lunches. Live music on alternate Sundays.
