This Pub is Closed Long Term
Built in the mid 18th century as the New Inn, later the Harcourt Arms, when the 1st Earl Harcourt demolished the original village to make way for a landscaped park and Nuneham House and rebuilt it as two identical rows of brick-built semi-detached cottages either side of what is now the A4074. It was rescued from dereliction in 2010 and became a fusion Chinese restaurant & wine bar retaining a small bar area, with some comfortable seating, nice rugs and modern décor. Ceased trading Feb 2020. Operating company dissolved.

Listed as inn, mid C18, altered and extended mid C19.
