Late 17th-century, large, multi-roomed pub in the centre of the village, close to the Oxford canal and railway station at Heyford. Two guest ales are served which change regularly with micros from near and far often featuring, and with two real ciders or perries also always on offer. Good home-cooked food is available lunchtimes and evenings. The large garden is popular in summer and Aunt Sally is played. Regular music nights promote local bands and a beer festival is held early in September.
